Jersey Shore? Really? Ahahaha... ok, so I'll admit liking some reality TV. Like American Idol. Not that I have a way to watch it, but whatever. Seriously, cable's expensive! Who has an extra $90 a month to blow on TV when ya don't even have time to watch it....

So, I can feel a routine already starting up (studio-work-sleep-repeat), and I'm itching to get away from it before it even starts. See, when things get boring, I get all homesick. One call from my co-name today, and I was basically a puddle. Right before work, too, which was totally inconvenient with the mascara streaks freaking out the kids and whatnot... but so worth it. I miss my girls!

But my newest idea for a distraction is basically that I am damned and determined to get a dog! ...Except I'm worried that I'll have a hectic life and no time to take care of it. But I'll make time! But I have a lot of classes and work. But there's always a chance in between classes and work! But that's still extra money to spend on food. But I'll be making money by working a ton! But that's more time gone... And so goes the internal debate. Wish me and my poor future dog luck.

In other news, I am the proud owner of an ice scraper! And no, I don't mean an old hotel key card. It was taking me fooooreeeeveeeer just to get into my car, so I blew the $3 on the plastic thingamajig at Walmart. And considering there's snow coming next week, I'll need it. But I am hoping for my first ever snow day! (Like, no school because of snow. That would be AMAZING.) Only thing is when there's a snow day, parents typically need nannies to stay with kids. So, we'll see.

Tip #6 (I think?) : Friendly faces on the other end of a Skype video make all the difference in the world.

hmmm....

So, no one has written in a while and i have time to kill before jersey shore comes on (hopefully the girls wont read that line they would go ape shit sense they dont watch nor like reality tv which i LOVE).

So of the 4 of us i am the oldest, the one with all the tattoos and the best driver no matter what the other 3 say they secretly kno its true and just wont admit it haha! anywho.... i have 5 tattoos already and am interested and really more like craving to get another one and soon! So hopefully i can save up enough money to get one within the next month.

I use to drive a jeep... until i sold it and got my amazing new car. The jeep however was sorta like another one of us girls in a way. He was the greatest at catching up to cute guys on the interstate to flirt with ... ahh how i wish we could find that asian guy in the nice ford truck again. however i think when he heard we were jammin out to hanson's mm bop we may have very well scared him away. the jeep was also the best to rock out to in. put a goonies cd in and we could have the jeep a shaking... literally ... if tina turners proud mary was on lauren s really got the jeep to shake . (goonies cd- a mix cd that i create for all of us girls to listen too so many good and classic songs on them such as spice girls, backstreet boys, hanson, lil wayne, elton john, pat benatar, and soo many many more) the jeep had its quirks though... like the fact that if we were on the highway we could only go up to 70 and the windows had to be down and the air conditioning was not allowed on... it liked to over heat... also it took about 30 min for the heat to actually kick in and it to be warm in there... luckily didnt need that too much. and holy moly was it a gas guzzler. but i loved it but im excited bout my fab new car which i cant wait to pimp out :D got to get the windows tinted and some nice rims on it. again though comes down to money and considering i am still in college and dont make all that much i think it will be a while.

well i think ive rambled on enough for one post... later dudes :D

Sense the lovely miss Lauren S put a second tip #3 this will be tip #5
Never let anyone tell you that you cant do something! And if they do tell em to shove it up their rear end and prove em wrong :D

Hello Lovely Internet People...

I am the ceramicist-Pilates instructor-biz woman-vegan referenced to earlier, Lauren S.
My favorite food is tofu and I am a gym rat. You will typically find me cracking myself up while others stare bewildered in my direction. I definitely beat to my own drum but my wonder gal pals are use to it by now. I am the "connector" friend in this group, as I forced them all to be my friends before introducing them to each other. Everything else is history.

My relationship with the girls is as follows....
Nicole F. is my polar opposite and partner in crime.
Nicole W. falls into a little sister role and shares my love for all things quirky.
As for Lauren P. she somehow always knows what I am thinking...it's SCARY! We just count it as a "Lauren thing". It's kind of like when twins have their own language.

Well, that's good for now, talk to you later folks.   Peace Out!

Tip #3: Girls dislike bad smells...wear deodorant guys!

Whats up?!?!?

Hey whats up? Im Nicole F. Im the worlds pickiest eater, which my friends can confirm lol i usually type way to fast and never go back to check to see if i spelt things right so good luck when reading!

Tip #3: Chocolate is the answer to EVERYTHING!

The First Introduction...

So, I suppose I'll give a little group history before I tell a bit about myself.

We all met in art classes at a scary little hell hole of a community college. We were all tortured by the Italian Stallion in drawing and had a chance to pretend the Jolly Giant Bald Guy was our dad in sculpture. And then there was Captain Alaska, but he's just funny. Did I mention we give everyone nicknames? Lauren S. is a ceramicist and a vegan-pilates-businesswoman extraordinaire, Nicole F. is a photographer and a slightly-scary-but-also-kickass driver and nanny, Nicole W. is... ok, well she's just good at everything. And I do mean everything. Oh, and I paint a bit.

I'm Lauren P. and I'm the one the rest are pissed at because I ran halfway across the country just for some art school scholarships. Ok, not really pissed. Just relatively displeased with. But hey, now there's somewhere to take road trips to!

Things to know about me: I'm the baby of the group. I'm particularly fond of popcorn. And Bahama Mamas. And COFFEE. I name all my vehicles, and the current one is a little blue car named Dory. Non-Anglo-Saxon gentlemen like my ass. One of my eyes is smaller than the other. I'm good with kids and adults, but generally pretty awkward around people my own age. I'm Southern.

Tip #2: Napping = survival!

The Start...

This fantastic, amazing, and fanciful blog is authored by four spirited ladies in college. They are spread across this beautiful nation, the U.S.A, and each has a slightly different twist on college life. In addition, they are all friends and fellow artists.

So what's with the blog name? Each blogger is another blogger's "co-name".  Follow this blog and you will experience the amusing musings of Lauren P. , Lauren S. , Nicole F. , and last but not least Nicole W.

Enjoy and remember every good person has a "co-name", go out and find yours!
